Rena Lipsey, D.C.S., C.Psych. Assoc.


Rena Lipsey is a Psychological Associate at the New Path Child and Adolescent Psychology Centre and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Rena's commitment to school psychology is demonstrated in her thirty-year career as a psychological associate with the York Region District School board where she completes comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults who possess various learning profiles. Rena has extensive experience and knowledge in the assessment of Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, and other social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Rena is strongly motivated by her desire to establish collaborative relationships with parents, school board professionals, and other mental health professionals to create educational programs that will facilitate growth in identified areas of need in her clients. Her ability to thoroughly understand a child's abilities and to communicate information is a strong asset to our families and school boards. Through her warm, kind, and sensitive approach, she motivates teams to create alternative pathways of success for her clients.
