DIAGNOSTIC & COMPREHENSIVE

Assessments

If your child is struggling with their school work, showing signs of gifted abilities, experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, or demonstrating concerning behaviours, an assessment can assist in determining your child's strengths and needs.

Assessments are conducted to provide clarification of a child’s, adolescent’s, or young adult’s development, cognition, thinking, emotions, behaviours, and learning through standardized testing, questionnaires, parent, child, teacher interviews, and observations. These measures will determine their areas of strengths and whether a specific diagnosis is appropriate. Areas of weaknesses are also revealed where specific programming, accommodations, and therapeutic interventions are recommended to lead to new paths of functioning.
