Jennifer Li Preti, M.A., C. Psych.


Jennifer is a School Psychologist at the New Path Child and Adolescent Psychology Centre and is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Ontario Psychological Association, and the Ontario Association of Psychological Associates.

Jennifer’s commitment to school psychology is demonstrated in her extensive experience as a psychologist with the Toronto Catholic District School Board where she completes comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults with various learning profiles. Her assessments educate parents, students, and school board professionals regarding students’ needs and provide the basis for the implementation of strategies for academic, social, and emotional growth. With a focus on individual strengths and capabilities, Jennifer advocates for students at school meetings and facilitates group treatment programs designed to build resiliency and social skills.

Jennifer is strongly motivated by her belief that an empathic and collaborative relationship with parents, students, and school board professionals is the cornerstone of successful academic, social, and emotional pathways. At the New Path Psychology Centre, Jennifer provides comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to children, adolescents, and young adults affected by Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Behavioural Disorders, and social-emotional needs. She also provides presentations to school board professionals on a variety of learning profiles to provide them with the knowledge that motivates change in belief systems, perceptions, and academic and parental supports.
